Our goal is to empower next-gen investors and serve as the single source of truth for all collectible assets.
The team here at Collectr are all avid collectors - we started with Pokémon and have now branched out to multiple TCGs (trading card games) and even sports cards. Eventually, as our collections grew, we started viewing them as assets as opposed to simply "trading cards".
And, as with any asset, we wanted to know the true value of what we had acquired, traded, and HODL'd :). Up until now, we had used simple Excel sheets and updated the value on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Web-based tools existed, but they were all sub-par, and didn't approach it from an asset management perspective.
That's when we decided to build something for ourselves. Collectr allows you to manage, track and value all your raw, graded and sealed cards in the palm of your hand.
